Its such a nice day today I thought I would hang out as many of my aprons as I could fit and air them out. I do this at least once in the summer. A lot of them stay in the drawer and I think I can hear them screaming to get out. I try and rotate them so I get to wear them all, but I notice that I seem to get stuck on a few and not do that. But I love them all. I could tell you where everyone of them came from.

Nice posting Nancy. I can almost see the aprons. It sounds like each apron has its own memory.
Have a great day!

I think we were sisters separated at birth...I hung out my aprons yesterday too but I didn't take pics cuz my camera is full. Youra are beautiful and they lookk so pretty hanging up on the line! I washed mine...I have the little one I showed y'all that I had when I was little and then I got 4 more at a garage sale 2 full for .75 each and 2 half for .50 each. I will try and take pics and post. They are pretty worn in places but I'd like to make some like them. The only problem with the apron is when I put it on it makes my fat stomach look even fatter....is it just me or do aprons accentuate a protruding stomach? Obviously MJ must not have one so it doesn't have that effect on her but I must say they don't do ME any favors in the figure department! And I'm not THAT big but the apron sure made me look it! Is there a pattern for a "skinny" apron? Is it just me again?

Oh Nancy jo they look so lovely. I have rigged up a little clothesline in my yard, it tips over when I put the wet clothes on it. i foound my camera cord yesterday - finally- and i was thinking about putting some half ap0rons on the line and taking a picture. My favorite is the one you sent me with the beautiful rickrack. I just love the full aprons too, whar a nice picture...it's hot and sludgy here today so I'm not getting a whole lot done, much more sensible to sit still qand enjoy looking at the posts on the forum.

Sam,
Two words on the apron"FLAT FRONTS" no pleats. oh, thats four words. Yes, do get that camera up and running.
Karin, Funny about your clothes line tipping over. I would say to fix that problem, only hang up dry clothes. That should do it.

They look beautiful, Nancy Jo. I bet if you go back in your blog to last summer you will find a similar post. So lovely. They even smell good. MB
