I remember an apron that went around many years ago - I remember it because I embroidered it right after Aunt Jenny. Wonder whatever happened to it? I embroidered on the pocket. It was off-white with redwork that we all did on it. Do not be discouraged when things like this get bogged down. They always will, but sooner or later, they get going again!

I'm going to burst. I don't have the apron, but it was around here about a week ago. I just want to reassure you that it is making the rounds. Contact Rene' for further reassurance if you need it. The apron is NOT lost. She's visiting. This isn't the same apron you embroidered, Shirley Jean, but one started just this year. I do wonder where yours went? Maybe ask the farm? Sometimes things like this get retired to on display status.

Wow, I figured the apron had made a bid for freedom.
I will be delighted to host it's visit, but I'll not hold my breath! LOL!

Most recently the traveling apron was at the beautiful farm of Kpaints... And it had so much fun! and grabbed a few more autographs. With Karen having a new grandbaby she sent the apron back to me, and it is tucked safely in a box and waiting for a Georgia address...
With it, since day one has been a journal... and it is getting full of fun memories that the person who received it next,can read and add to... It has been to many fun places, has been warn by farmgirls,farmboys and mayors... and a welcomed guest to many a shindig.
I hope that as gals get the apron that will do a few things.. take a picture of themselves in it and post it on this thread, write in the journal, and pass it on to another farmgirl on this thread who wants to have a turn.........
But, please know, it has been having a blast as it written in it's journal....

I would love to see it make its way to Oregon to the kfalls charming chicks as we will be meeting with the rougue river chicks near the end of june to be in a parade. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I would love to see the apron make it to Loveland Colorado this summer. We have workshops for girls here this summer based on the spirit and basic skills of farmgirls and of course one of the workshops has an apron day :)
Keeping my intent on showing the girls and intoducing them having them to this community.

Hey Grace, Dawn(deeredawn), Lora(FARMALLChick), and I will be in CDA on 7/3, in fact were going to be greeting Farmgirls at MJ's store. We're also doing the entire 7/4, Saturday trip, so we will get to meet you!!!
We won't be at the Sunday event, we have to take Lora to the airport in Lewiston.

Sorry if I kept you waiting Teresa Sue  ... I was soooo excited to find your e-mail when I checked my messages tonight !!!!! I just sent you my address so I'll be eagerly awaiting the apron's arrival!!! The Island Farmgirls will have to plan a welcome party for the apron ... I can't wait to see what that little apron has been up to in the past year (can you believe it will be a year next month??!!)  Time flies when you're havin' fun!!

I bet that apron (and all you lucky Farmgirls!!) had a great time at the Farm Fair Festivities!! I wish I could've been there ... maybe next year!!

Sorry Tracey, I haven't made it to the post office yet, between grandbeastie babysitting, keeping my 50'x5' raspberry patch picked, and garden, I'm running circles around myself! It will probable be Mon before I get it mailed and I will email you when I do, please forgive me!!!! Our little post office has limited hours and I'm an hours drive from any larger post office.
