Thought you might like to see who has been nibbling on my maters! It doesn't appear to be 4 legged or 2 legged for that matter.....


He's Super Caterpillar!!!!! Any catepiller sleuths out there know what kind?

I'd say a tomato hornworm. See the horn on his tail. When I see one (or sometimes several) I pick them off and give them to the chickens. They have a ball tormenting the ole boy. Serves him right, he was eating my tomato plants!

Yep, he's a hornworm! Found him online. Sad to say when they are pretty moths they look like this.

And they'll lay some mothy-type eggs that will grow up to eat my tomatoes!!!!

I'm assuming there are several others out there in the garden too. Out to check. Wish I had some chickens....
