Anyway, I went and I GOT A FEW CUTE THINGS. Windy and warm here today. I did a lot of work this morning, I start about seven and usually put in a good three hours, then the rest of the day I feel like things are under control. Just made a cake and put some chicken in a bag with a BBQ sauce for dinner. I was brought up to be a morning person and I guess it stuck. Of course I'm not much fun after nine at night. Usually reading by then, or even sleeping!!Having two of the Grand daughters all day tomorrow so thought I better run to the thrift again. You know you could go there several times a day, they are always putting new stuff out. Just thinking, you know I could take the girls with me tomorrow? Well we will see. Oh boy to much coffee.

very cute. I found a new thrift store yesterday and found a few vintage childrens patterns and a couple of smocking books for $1!

Oh...you just "slay" me with those bargains! They're just unbeleivable! And....I hate to tell you Nancy Jo...but you are NOW officially a collector of salt and pepper shakers....that's what I hear on the street anyway. All of it is darling and I too am a morning person although this morning came a bit too early for me....I mistakenly had a cup of International Flavored Coffee last night....DUH!!! I don't think I slept a wink so now I am starting to fade and it's only noon! Love the basket too and the round box....and on top of all that you get COUPONS TOO! This must be a TRUE non-profit organization in every sense of the word. Well....I'm slow but still moving so I better go get something done. Yes...take the girls with tomorrow...it's never too soon to teach them the fine art of "junkin" as my daughter and I call it. That chicken sounds good...what time is supper?

I think the salt and Pepper sharkers are just too cute. Love the chicken motif. I DON'T want to collect shakers so I have resisted so many. There are some real cute ones out there, but not for me. haha.
I usually am up by 6AM so I am a morning person but then again I don't get to bed until after midnight so maybe I am a night person. I started staying up late when my kids were babies because I needed the quiet time and I don't seem to require much sleep. I figure if I keep moving 'they' won't find me. MB

sandra darlin' .. they make SUGAR FREE .. DECAF international coffee .. i have a cup almost every morning .. and sometimes at night .. and sleep like a baby (well .. not a new-born .. they are up every couple hours!) of course, i can easily stay up well past midnight on just my own energy. IMAGINE what caffeine would do to me!

oh nancy jo .. i took my granddaughter to the weekend flea markets from almost the day she was born .. she became QUITE the little bargain shopper .. people LOVED to watch her 'wheel and deal' for a lesser price! i loved it when she finally could talk and SHE would be the one waking ME .. saying: "wake up grammie .. all the GOOD STUFF will be gone!"

i'm an early riser too .. despite the time i go to bed at night! hank has always been in awe at me at how little sleep i seem to need. (but i reeeeeely do get from six to eight each night).
