Alee, next time you go to Hobby Lobby could you check on if they have the 200 thread count Aunt Martha dish towels? (the 200 thread count is new, according to their site, before they were less then 200). If they do could you tell me what kind of quality they look like in real life, and how much a package of them is?

I have never seen a Hobby Lobby, ; ( .
My pillowcases are just about done, I have a few touch ups that need to be done, and they will be on their way!!

Hobby Lobby is wonderful! lol It's like AC Moore, but in my opinion better.
It's also very reasonably priced! They have more stuff then AC Moore too.
I just love Hobby Lobby, and can't wait to move back to Kansas where they are! lol

I have one pillowcase done now and one to go. I am happy how they are turning out..this is fun! I do other embroidery all the time but havn't done any pillowcases in years!!

Well, I'm almost finished with my cases. Just have a few finishing things to do on the last one. (one is completely done, the other will be done tonight or tomorrow morning).
Any way how is every one else coming along?
BTW, did any one notice that Aunt Martha has three new primitive pillow case pattern sets! (you get more then one pattern per a set). So at least 9 new primitive pillow case patterns! They look adorable! Has any one else seen them on the shelves? I seen them on the site, but not in real life yet. I'm about to die, waiting to actually get my hands on one! lol haha

Aunt Martha is one of the leading hot iron transfer embroidery pattern companies in the USA. (It's what is most commonly found.) They are also usually pretty cheap. Usually not much more then a dollar a envelope of patterns, and often less then a dollar.

They are sold locally at-Hancock's Fabrics, Joanne's, Hobby Lobby, to name a few places. Walmart used to sell them too but they stopped. :( AC Moore, and Michael's does NOT sell them.

However, it's not too late to get in on this one since there is two of you. Homemom, and Soapmommy you could be partners. And trade. And give yourselves the amount of time you need. Since you are both late in the game but joined as the same time as each other. Maybe you could extend your dates with each other till xmas.
Homemom, I am sure you will find them at Joann's! :) I am positive! I have never been to one with out them.

Well, just makes sense to me! lol :) I want in on another one too! I can't wait for the next one! lol
Funny thing is, I already started another set of cases. I'm in the "mood" for embroidery. I am now working on a vintage vogart pattern for my sister. It'll be my gift to her this year. :) She loves cats! Last year I did this one from Patternbee, it's a little blurry cause my camera was not set right at that time and we didn't know what was wrong with it-
Here's the one I am working on this year for her-I got it on ebay. I looked online for a picture. But, I couldn't find one. It's a hard one to find. I about never found one! So of course I did NOT use the actual pattern, instead I traced it. So I should be able to do this one many more times. It's really cute so far. It's a kitten in a high heel, and a ribbon going through it. It is just very very cute. :)
After this I would really like to make two sets for friends. And maybe a set for me, and my daughter. Then I want in on another swap! lol haha

I don't know if anyone has ben franklin's by them but I found my aunt martha's there and they were only a dollar something. less than $2 anyway. I bought the herb ones.
