Hi Ladies, I am hoping someone here will be able to help me out.
My stepmother (Hi Rose) gave me a lovely apron that was made from blue gingham and a pair of jeans. In the pocket was a much copied story about how the apron came to be... was a pair of jeans, rode on the seat of a tractor, slid down the fishing bank..etc.
Unfortunately, my house ~ along with my aprons burned down. I can make another apron, but I would love to have the story to go with it. If anyone can point me in the direction of that story, I would be glad to trade your story for an apron.
Thanks for reading this, Warmly, Debi |

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your home and belongings..I can only imagine something that terrible happening. As for your apron story, do you remember any of the lines exactly? If you had at least a line or two memorized, it might be found. Do you have any idea where your step-mom (Hi Rose!) got it? it might be a litlte story the maker concocted just for her things. You might ask. Good luck! ~kate

Hi Kate, Unfortunately she got it a a craft show in Maryland, but it has been about 8 years ago. I really can't remember much, except that they (the jeans) had sweated on the seat of a John Deere tractor and slid down the muddy banks of the fishing hole.
Thank you for your kind thoughts... as well as all the other ones I received today. When I read them, I felt as if I had been hugged~
