Okay its only one more week, I have been busy getting some items ready for you, you are going to lovethe hearts for the pin keeps, I cut them from a beautiful crazy quilt.I have got ready several different things so if you dont want to do one thing then choose another. There are some things I wont be able to get done, like some room painting and things I would have liked to look better,I am not much to complain but I have been a little puny the past couple of months, My back has given me fits and I had a growth on my right leg. Today they got the thing out of there. So if you will look over all the things I didnt get done I promise you lots of things and fun when you get here. Tomorrow I will be getting the beds ready,I will be sending directions to where I live also if you are coming in on Friday night we dont go to bed until late so you can come anytime. Will do another post of some things you might want to bring

A thimble or two, As most of you know I only know how to work with vintage fabrics so if any of you want to teach something more modern you are welcome, I have a house full of fabrics and things to work with . we would like your ideas to. I think I might have told you that if you would like to learn to paint with buttermilk paint please bring something unfinished.I will have the paint and wax, also please bring something to cover your good clothes or something you dont mind getting ppaint on, Jonnie wrote today and told me all the pies she was bringing, for one time there will be enough that Sterl dont eat it all up. Miss Wilma,
It sounds like you are going above & beyound the call of duty to have the best farm girl get together.
You are an absolute gem for opening your home, heart & talents.
I wish I could attend, but alas I have other committments but I expect to hear & see a ton of pic's from the "Wilma's Wild Wingding Fest".
Plus I look forward to you coming out/up here next summer for MaryJanes boot scooting hoedown! Don't forget to practice your Boot Scooting Steps, hmmm maybe you and the gals could practice in between dolly making & buttermilk painting....lol!

Grace I sure wish you could be here to , We are going to have fun I cant wear boots for awhile but I can go barefoot if I have to.We are going to be doing some really neat things, It is so dry here everything is burned up, my yard and gardens are pathetic Get the boots on now Carol Sue

Hey Ya'll, I can't wait, I have been counting down the days, I hope there will be a list of things to bring with those directions, I would also like to know what I can bring food wise? I don't want to show up empty handed! I would love to help in some way or another.
Miss Wilma, since I am bringing my little girl, I think we will stay in a hotel, I hate to take up room at your house. I plan to leave here Friday afternoon.

I'm getting more and more excited! I was just showing my mother in law pics on your blogspot Miss Wilma. She can't hardly wait to see it all in person. I told her she was going to meet some of the nicest folks in the world down there.

Fredrik says she can sew and I know she hemmed some curtains of ours one of the last times they were in. She's looking forward to meeting everyone, but she doesn't speak a lot of English. Fredrik can interpret for her though. He has to do that a lot for me as I don't know a whole lot of Swedish. I showed her the pillows you made us and she really liked them.

Wilma - I'm bringing a box of aprons/smocks for whoever wants/needs one. Yesterday, I dug a bunch of yellow(Hyperion) daylilies that had been mowed over early in the season and grew back! I floated them in a kiddie pool and cleaned them off and I'll bring them on Sunday for whoever would like to take a sack home. I've got a washtub and two buckets full.

Guess what Janice we just might get to sneak in a little junking if you get here thursday morning , then Friday when Jonnie and her mom and anyone else I WILL TELL THEM WHERE TO GO. also will take you to one of my little secret places its abig place but we can look real fast By the time we get done jerking Carol Sue around she will be unable to travel or never have another pain
