Yep, you are on a roll again. Hope you planned another vacation a few months from now. You will need a few days get away again.

How awesome that you are having a shower for Brian and Ashley.
We sure did enjoy getting to meet them. And there scarecrow was great that they made.

Christmas Open House, so do you do that at the farm there at your little house of primitives....

I am enjoying watching the rain come down and the braches glistening with it. Our leaves are all gone as the weather has gotten colder. The nights shorter. I tell ya, it takes a little getting use to have sunset at 4:29. Thankfully it only lasts until December 22. Then we gain a few minutes every day.
Thank goodness. Yes, I like lots of lights on in my house....lol

you girls have a good afternoon.....

Miss Wilma, how far is Knob Lick from Scottsville, KY? (Scottsville is close to Bowling Green) I wish I had known about this forum sooner so I could have come to the get together in October! It sounded like so much fun. Maybe I can come to the next one. Do you have a primitive shop? Me and my mom are primitive fanatics! Glad to hear there is another farmgirl close by!

Best farm wishes

Wilma - Is your open house only on Saturday? I've promised to go with Susan to someplace in Indiana the first Saturday in Dec. :( Are you doing it on Sunday, too?

Hey Janice what was the name of the day lilies I got from you? I put them around my bird bath.

Hooray! I can come Sunday. I'll see if Susan can come with me. Do you mean the yellow ones? The big clump left over in the washtub? Those are called 'Hyperion'.

Hey gals...I've been MIA for a little bit. Been all over the place. I lost my voice and I've got strep throat as well as an ear infection. :-/ Wilma - I got those photos. As soon as I can talk, I'll give you a ring.

Tammy - Welcome to the board! One of my dear friends lives over in Scottsville. I was just over there back in May. There is a delicious bbq place over there that I enjoyed eating at. I can't think of the name.

I hope that everyone is doing well. I do have one thing done on my "to do" list...Christmas cards! HAHA. Actually I made them myself and sent them off to the printers. Actually, now that I think of it, I need to do another one for my photography stuff. Eek.

Anywho...gotta run. Hope all is well!

Yes, Miss Wilma is.

Jessica, strep throat is absolutley no fun!!!! And you have your Christmas cards done already!!!! I am just beginning to think about Christmas. Must finish up a few things here before then. I acutally have a tiny corner of the sewing room cleaned, you should see the rest of it!!!!!! LOL

So Miss Wilma, are you covered in stuffing like I was.
I washed the apron I wore when I stuffed stuff there yesterday, I picked as much off the apron and out of the pockets, I could not beleive how much there was everywhere....had me laughing at myself. Gosh I am a messy girl.....I bet you don't look to far different. So are you doing all the stuffing for the Christmas sale? Curious minds want to know.

Janice, how is the farm doing?

Now where is our MIss Dana and Kelly? Need to email those girls.

Off to go get a much needed cup of tea. Yes, we had a wet snow here today. Rain for the next bit, but that snow will be here before ya know it.....

Oh I'm here! Just lurking and blowing my nose! How long must I be filled with phlem????? I have cards started but haven't felt much like working on anything. I am inspired to embroider some little pillows and framed sayings. My grandmother was a stiletto wearing, manicured country club maven who had the funniest things to warn us about! I'm thinking of doing some of that for my sister and mom and daughters. I have been cutting up a quilt and have pieces laying around waiting on me! Maybe this weekend. I only just cooked dinner tonight. My poor Robert is dying for real food! How come I can go without eating for 2 weeks and NOT lose weight? Ugh!
