Laura, that's a good plan!!! MUCH advanced notice--I know for some places of business, it's STILL not enough! So happy to hear that you're going to make it--Miss Wilma has sooo many neat things cooked up for us to learn and do. I am just thrilled that we get to do them together!!

Wow! This sounds wonderful. Fredrik's Mom and Dad from Sweden will still be here at that time. They are coming Sept. 13th and are staying for a month. Miss Wilma, would it be ok to bring them as well? I know they would love it and meeting all of you.

Sounds like a perfect event. Even if we are in KY by that time, I'm committed to doing the flowers for a MI wedding that weekend! I just know that I'll meet you all in person eventually.

Enjoy the planning and the weekend!

Miss Wilma, I just told my little Miss K about your granddaughter and camping out in your living room. She is in the other room rummaging around for her sleeping bag right now.

What a treat it would be to meet the Kentucky Headhunters! I don't know if I'll be able to stand the wait until October.

Miss Wilma,

I just did a map quest to Knob Lick and realized that we lived closer to each other than I had first thought. Less than 3 hours from Evansville or the farm which is in Lyon County. So watch out you never know when I may hope in my car and head your way.

Gosh - Lainey I cannot wait to meet you!!! Wilma told me so many wonderful things about you and your hubby. :) And what a treat to have International Guests to our little neck of the woods. I cannot wait to meet all four of you.

Donna, I hope that you do get to come down this way. You mentioned Lyon County, I know a couple of folks over that way.

Now that I have the job stuff figured out, I'm definitely coming along with hubby. The menfolk can entertain us with their pickin and singing. Then again, I don't know if we want them to sing. haha. Sterl can sure play the Wabash Cannonball for us along with baking a big biscuit.

Hubby and I were figuring out what to eat this morning for breakfast and I made some fresh biscuits and brought out a jar of strawberry jam and blackberry jam that Wilma made for me a while back. The spoon has hit the bottom of the jar, so its time for a new one. I do have some extra homemade strawberry jam that our local 4H kiddos made. It is delicious! I ended up buying a case of that stuff. Support my local 4H and my hungry belly. haha.

I love how we'll be relaxing and just having a great time with family and friends. I'm counting down the days now. :)

I didn't even think of it, but I'll be more than happy to show anyone about taking photos, etc. There are all kinds of stuff at Wilma's house for interesting backgrounds. Plus she has all kinds of livestock, barns, flowers, and more.

Jess, I can't wait to meet you too! Fredrik told his parents on the phone this morning about coming down there and they are looking forward to it too. Fredrik likes to take photos so I'm sure he will be interested in learning from you. We are going to have so much fun, I can't wait!

Jessica, I will be there as long as the creek (river) don't rise over it's banks. I can't wait to meet you and I would love to learn about photography. I've been a point and snap type of girl all of my life.

Who do you know from Lyon County?

Miss Wilma, I was telling my SIL about you yesterday and the event you are planning. My SIL is from Horse Cave, KY, and she is trying to decide if she knows you. She wanted me to ask if you ever went to a place called Sulphur Wells?

Still working on the transportation, I can't stand it, by hook or by crook as my dh told me. He would love to come but have to wait on that one. Trying to get one of us there is about all we can do this time. So now my question to your girls is are ya gonna do this October meet up a year from now? Yes, I am serious cause dd and 2 of my farmgirl buddies would love to come. If we all planned that far ahead we would be thinking about a train trip for all of us. Now put that one on your plate for a bit!!!!!! Yep, instigating again now aren' I!!!!!!! LOL
