I must have missed the disco too! Dana you must fill me in! A get together I don't know about, is that what I read! I'm game as long as the hunny will let go of me and Abby again:)And Miss Wilma, while you are digging for recipes, I loved the mac and cheese, can you part with that one too? Thanks a bunch!

I vote with Miss Dana I would love to have Millies pasta salad recipe.
What Dana you already have the apple pie recipe. Shheeezzzz, I better get my buns in gear here....lol
I think the energizer bunny rabbit move has done did died here at my house for the time being. I dropped like a rock today, and took a 3 hour nap. I am so darn it tired. LOL
I have to have some energy cause I have to undig my sewing room, I have a certain baby quilt to finish, and an apron to make and and and....lol
MIss Dana send me a piece of that pie.....planning what, tell me tell me.....

If knowing how to dance is my ticket to attending one of Miss Wilma's gatherings than I'll never be able to attend! I don't know how to clog, line dance or do the hustle (disco). All this "Princess Gimpie" can do is watch. :-(

Two gatherings in one month....what more can a farmgirl ask for? :) You could not ask for more beautiful weather and wonderful friends to share a day with today. It was a tad bit cold this morning (lower 40s) and we got a little late start and didn't make it up there until 11:30 or so. The crowd was really hopping and we actually only made about a 1/2 trip around. I did find some cute things and had my eye on a few others, but decided to hold back. I have so much here in my house to get rid of already!
We all talked about our gathering and it was so hard to believe it was just a couple of weeks ago! Wilma, Sterl, David, Janice, Jonni, Lisa & her sister & nephew, and my hubby and I had a grand ole time. We had a mini-farmgirl baby shower for our little farmerette to be too. Janice & David found the CUTEST "pigs in blanket" cupcakes. Ok, they were babies, but they were adorable. Wilma found some adorable cupcakes too with baby stuff as toppers. We also celebrated Jonni's birthday, which was yesterday.
Photos were taken of the day and yes....we finally ventured to Rabbit Hash, KY. WOOHOO! Boy did my hubby stick out like a sore thumb...haha. You had a ton of bikers and there he was with overalls. Actually, it wasn't bad at all. They were very nice and I actually recognized a couple of folks. The town was featured on CBS this morning for their Mayor Campaign. I won't say who we voted for, but it is a tight race! Check it out online at www.rabbithashusa.com. It is a quaint little community right on the banks of the Ohio River. Beautiful drive and we even went down "main street" in McVille. There were two of the most beautiful barn quilts on the way and of course, I grabbed my camera and took photos. They truly fit the barn, especially the red tulip. LOVED IT!! Would love to have a quilt in that pattern, even if it was just one large tulip just like the barn.
We are tuckered out from our adventures this weekend. KY FarmGirls, be on the lookout in your email boxes for some news and such.... :) We wish you guys could have been there today. Be on the lookout for photos soon!

Okay, I can do the happy dance hopping up and down on one leg....looks pretty silly for a woman my age to be hopping up and down, but then again according to my 10 yr old I'm 93. Man when I look in the mirror I've aged very well for a woman of 93 yrs. ;)
Jonni, happy belated birthday from me too.
I met Luna and her husband this weekend at the fiber festival in Corydon, IN. It was great to put a face to the name and Luna is beautiful. Now, I am so ready to hopefully meet everyone else.

Donna, now I was the old gal of the crowd but it didnt stop me from having fun, sweetie there was one pic of me with my leg throwed up, its surprising what you can do if you are having fun and believe you me I did, I am looking forward to another one , I am already getting antsy. Yes Luna is a beautiful girl There was not one girl here that that didnt have fun I dont believe, I am now therfore appointing Joy and Dana to oversee the dancing and me and little Laura are just going to giggle and giggle THANK YOU girls for the happiest and best time of my life. You girls just turn my head....I have to go run to the mirror and look to see and all I see is my little mama! It was great to meet Donna and put one more face to the names. Got a few, now. The Southern Indiana Fiber Festival was a lot of fun. And so close. If anyone is into knitting or spinning this is a great one and really close to KY. Too bad it was on the same day as the Burlington Blast. It seems my fiber things keep clashing with the Wilma Wanderings. I can't believe I miss Rabbit Hash too! Miss Wilma we must make another trip! You promised! Ok not really promised but.......can we???
This dancing has got me totally intrigued! I did so want to learn the clogging with Miss Wilma and Line Dancing. Now I can fake a disco now and then if no one is looking and I'm in the kitchen stirring a pot! My kids used to laugh at me so! In public is a different story!
I'm off to NJ (AGAIN ....wish me luck and good fortune and an amicable fair outcome.

Ohhh, more fun had by Miss Wilma, girl you are one busy woman and I love that you are having fun with farmgirls. You are one amazing lady, now stop shaking your head no, yes you are!!!!!
I have been slow as molasses today, lol. Slow still gets there now doesn't it!!!!! Still sorting through stuff and plannin fun projects....cause winter she is around the corner and I want to have things ready to be snuggled in for it. It seems funny to even being saying that with how beautiful and bright it is out today. We get lots of sunshine even if it does get cold.
Thinking of all of you and smiling big!!!!!
