I woke up this morning thinking, "this time last week I was eating biscuits and gravy at Miss Wilma"s!" How a week flies! I miss waking up to bunches of women eating, talking and crafting! My kind of heaven. (Don't tell my husband!) I was at the local farmer's market yesterday spinning and that was fun, but it was not the same! I am still uplifted and inspired and I have a page full of ideas I want to make! Thank you all for that! My husband was hoping I would bring home a recipe for the moonshine..... what does he think we are? A wild and crazy bunch of women??? Oh, yea, he lives with me! Love you all. I'm off to visit Eva at school. She is terribly homesick since our trip!

Hi gals. I'm home visiting family and I'm popping through here. Nancy Jo - I've sent you the link. Shirley Jean, email me your email addy and I'll send it to you.

Here in a week we'll be meeting in Burlington, KY for their antique show. Anyone else plan to go? :)

Also, be on the lookout for a special email coming later this evening to those that were at Miss Wilma's workshop. A little surprise. :o)

Dana - yep I'm craving some gravy and biscuits this morning. Maybe I can convince mom to make some. Teehee. I also have a special cookbook to mail you next week. Tell Eva howdy for us!!! We sure do miss everyone.

I am finally slowed down and sitting down here. Yes, I could blubber at a drop of the hat when I think of all of you.
Dh has been giving me lots of hugs and saying you are homesick for you home away from home. Yes, I am Miss Wilma.

Donna here is to believeing for another Miss Wilma Gathering maybe for us in the fall again. We are brainstorming ways to make money to bring hubby and daughter and grands cause they want to spend time with Miss Wilma and Sterl. Yep, been bragging on them a plenty.

Miss Dana, I had to laugh when you were thinking this morning of how you were sitting down for the big biscuit!!!! I was thinking about it this morning too!!!!

Girls, hug Miss Wilma and each other for me when you get to Burlington.

Now you all want to laugh at me. You know how I thought I would go home and get a couple days rest and then go to quilt retreat and come home and crash.....I am laughing so hard.....none of that happened. I ended up hitting the ground running....Tuesday did 5 quilt blocks for my friends wedding quilt ran them to the friend putting them together, Wednesday helped a friend clean out the most disgusting mobile you have ever seen but I found treasures....in the garbage.....yucko bucko....Thursday, pick the grapes and tomatos major cold weather.....come home pack for retreat....check on niece....drive to retreat.....eat....sleep.....Friday....sew a little, chat....eat....chat .....laugh....tears .....saying goodbye to our quilt buddy that is moving away....Saturday home again, my folks drove over to visit, not on my agenday either, but a good time visiting, then moving stuff from friend to here....Sunday up to finish....finally at 4pm sitting down on my very own couch.....only to have to take care of all the fruit tomorrow, apples and grapes....and clean up some way way way cool glassware that was thrown in the garbage.....I think Miss Wilma bit me with the energizer bunny rabbit bug.....lol
Love ya Miss Wilma.....hugs....

Who's going to Burlington this Sunday? I'll be there! We're going to an auction all day Saturday(UH OH!!!) and Burlington on Sunday. And Wilma.....I don't know how to pay you back for everything. But I"m thinking that you need to extend your daylily bed in every direction because in the spring, there's going to be a truck load(two layers deep) of daylilies(a sample of each of the 200+ varieties we grow) pulling up at your house with two people carrying shovels to plant them for you anywhere you want them to go! :) And PS: and of all the souvenirs/goodies/memories/treasures that came home with us, the most valuable and precious by far is your friendship. We both love you and Sterl a ton!!!!!

Miss Wilma! Your are back! You are a doll and even though I wasn't able to be there with you, somehow, I feel that we have shared a big hug! I am really not that far away and you know I will be making a special trip out to visit you. I wish I could see all the pictures, too.

It sounds like you all had the very best of times. Thanks for sharing the memories in such vivid details for those of us that just couldn't make it. I am happy to see that Carol Sue came back to us Washington girls~ while I am sure you all wanted to keep her, we just need her here. Miss Wilma you are certainly loved!

Miss Wilma and Janice are some of the most giving people I have ever meet, but I agree with Janice, the best thing I have from them both is their friendships and sisterhood. Boy, do I miss you two. Meeting again.....waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Ok, shooting for next October again, would love to be their with a shovel and helping put in those great daylilies from you Jancie, now that would be pure fun, playing in the dirt at Miss Wilmas.....lol

David and I are pretty fast hole diggers by now, Wilma. :) We move right along! And we don't take many breaks, either! We're pretty good field hands for our age. :D I've even got a plan already. I'm going to get more washtubs and in the spring, I'll just plan a weekend to dig, tag and float them in washtubs. That takes less time than potting them. Then, the next weekend, we'll bring them to you and plant them. You're going to have a whopper of a daylily garden. You might even have to start charging admission! LOL!

Wilma, I kept thinking about you and the group, too. Wondering what wonderful think you all were doing at that moment, then the next moment, and the next. A girls road trip is always a GO for me. And I need to check out those trailers to see if there is one that I could actually afford!
