I feel like since I got marriend and now have a child, I have to be 100% responsible and upright all the time and sometimes that is exhausting. I want to kick off my shoes and go to the honky tonk for some good dancing and music and just cut loose. I love my family, but just to have a moment of single again would be fun.

Am I single??? Well I'm not married, engaged. My birthday in Sept. will be a year since he popped the question. Anyhooo onto the question... I miss having my own plans, doing my own thing. You know when you have the extra money and you wanna just spend the day yardsaling or shopping.
And I totally agree with you Heather!! I LOVE dancing! I haven't been since my senior prom.

I haven't been single since I was old enough to date. :) Found one and stuck with him. Soooo, the memories I have of my 'single' days are of me and my BF staying up late at sleepovers, pouring over fashion magazines. ;) I guess that could be fun, I'll hold out and do it with my daughters, though.

Frannie that was funny.
Samantha in Texas kind of pinned it down for me. What is it with the men who barge in on bathroom thinking. I want to put dead bolt locks on my bathroom door but my Sweetie husband says that is not appropriate. For me it would be.

What I miss about being not being single is that now I have more messes to clean up, more laundry to do, more trash to empty, more dishes, because my hubby does absolutely nothing around the house!

one thing i have learned to love about being single is doing my thing on my schedule. i love not having to ask permission or having to worry about what someone else thinks of my new haircut or dress design. i know not all men are this way, but my stbx was very controlling.

What we write today slipped into our souls some other day when we were alone and doing nothing.

I miss being able to just jump up and go. Leave, hit the road, move to a new town, new state, new country. I can say that I have done all that and let my hair down too, but it might be nice to do again. but then I would want my family...the grass is always greener...just when you get there you find out it is the same as where you just came from.

I have to say freedom to do as I want when I want. But, I suppose that would get old too!
