Ok farm ladyfriends, My Hubby is putting up a clothes line for me.. Horray! I love the smell of fresh sheets and towels, Can't wait to do laundry. I am looking for old fashioned wood clothes pins , Some of the newer kind are really cheap looking..Any ideas where to find them?

I was going to suggest the WalMart pins as well. That's what I use and they are very sturdy. It's the only reason I go to WalMart, to get their pins. (I think they are about $4 a package but well worth it.) They also stamp nicely so you can decorate them and make laundry day really fun! (Don't forget to spray them with acrylic spray when the stamping is dry. Otherwise you will have colored fingers. )

Just a hint, I put my towels in the dryer for about 5 minutes and then hang them on the line. For some reason, they don't get stiff that way! Congratulations on your new clothesline. I love mine!

Someone m entioned leaving them on the line, I find that they turn all black and leave marks on the clothes. Anyone have a solution for that?
