I started these Sunbonnet Sues almost a year and a half ago. When I went to California on vacation I finished her up in a quilt. What do you think?

Amanda how beautiful!!!!
One of my life time goals is to make a quilt. I have the material and everything else I need. I have to find the guts to begin. Your quilt is so nice. It cannot be the first one you've done, is it?

I plan on making a Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam quiltl when my grandbaby is old enough to appreciate it. Right now I don't know if it is a boy or girl. Anyway, your quilt is gorgeous and the quilting great. Did you do the quilting on a long-arm?

That is Sue up close, I embroidered her by hand, and then put the rest together on a machine.
I used a Long arm, with no set pattern. The back isnt as pretty as the front, lol.

I have put tops together before but just quilted it together on my sewing machine.
Thanks again ladies

Jess I quilted it on an HQ16 I think. It is my Aunts machine. I am always on a Sunbonnet kick, lol.
