Okay... 1 can black beans 1 can white northern beans 1 can kidney beans 2 cans pinto beans 1/2 lb. raw bacon, cut into 1/2" pieces 6 to 8 green onions (one bundle) 1 jar chili sauce..homemade or otherwise 2 Tblsp mollasses
Open all the cans of beans ..don't drain them!...and dump into a dutch oven (or other heavy pan with lid that can go in the oven for a couple hours) add the chopped up still raw bacon, and the mollasses and chili sauce...chop the green onions and then set aside for the last 1/2 hour... stir it all up to mix well and cover with the lid. Put in the oven at 300 for 2 to 4 hours. Uncover and stir in the green onions the last 1/2 hour. return to oven without the lid and bake that last 1/2 hour. These are so good..never any left.
