Hotties, our henhouse is now ready for us to move in! I'll do a little setting up today, typing in a welcome post for instance. Here is the e-mail from Jen pasted in below which tells how to join the Henhouse:
"Congratulations, Caron, the Heart of Texas Farmgirls henhouse is finally ready! As of right now, you're the only one registered to post in the house (just use your forum user name and password to log in). When other sisterhood members come to you & want to sign up, send Sunny their user names, and she'll add them to the house. Some may go to Sunny directly, and so she'll add them too. Again, as leader, you will be the only one able to post in the bulletin board area. I suggest posting a welcome message in the bulletin board that introduces your ideas & goals for the house. Get creative and have fun!"
So, it seems a Hottie wanting to join can send me her user name and I will send it to Sunny or she can contact Sunny and give her the user name and she will add her to the house.
I will send her the names already posted in our "Heart of Texas Farmgirls-Join Here" thread.
I have to go into town today, but will get to it as quickly as I can!

Hotties, I have set up the welcome letter and put in my membership bio in the Henhouse. I have submitted everyone who put their name in the "Heart of Texas Farmgirls-Join Here" section to Sunny.
Remember to POST in the Henhouse, you have to have a sisterhood membership. But anyone can READ there, so be sure to check the messages there when you can. If you do not currently have a sisterhood membership,but need to post something for the group, post here in Chapter Chatter and I will look for it.

Lorri, go to "all forums" and scroll down to find the henhouse area. Click on that, then scroll down till you find Heart of Texas Farmgirls. Click on any of the sections listed below our name to read what's posted. When you get a sisterhood membership you can also post in there. But we're going to be posting in Chapter Chatter as well.

Welcome Brenda! We're glad to have you as a H.O.T. Farmgirl! Just post to us under the Chapter Chatter section, we have several threads going there. Also,as you look around the MaryJane site you'll see where you can join the Farmgirl Sisterhood. This costs 20.00 per year and gets you a neat badge to wear, special discounts each month on items, and the ability to post into a section called the Henhouse. The Heart of Texas Farmgirls also have a section there.
You can go there and read posts at any time, but to post something there, you'll need the sisterhood membership.
In the meantime, we're happy you have joined us, and look forward to your posts in our threads in Chapter Chatter!

Thank you Caron! I will check out the Chapter Chatter section. I joined the Farmgirl Sisterhood a few days ago but my packet is on backorder. I did go to the "New Member" list and saw that my name was there with my number. Do I wait for the packet before I can post in the Henhouse. Thanks for all your help with this!
