My most ragged (i.e. favorite) cookbook is called Talk About Good and is from the Lafayette Louisianna Junior League circa 1968. There have been more printings, and I found a new one for my daughter a few years back.

I got a great cookbook from Ajunt jenny in a swap that I am getting more and more attached to. It is called Cooking with the Crazy Lady.

And I really enjoy lots of the recipes from the MaryJane Cookbook that was put together from the gals on this site.

I have over a hundred cookbooks, but the one I reach for first is my old copy of Better Homes and Gardens...it is no longer red and white...maybe a sad tan and cream, but it is well-used. I like the 11th edition as well...

It is really hard to pick just one, though!!!!

I have many cookbooks but Fanny Farmer is the all-time most used one. My mother gave me a paperback edition when I got married in 1962 and in ten years it was falling apart worn out. I found a hardback 1965 edition at a booksale for 25 cents. The Sunset cookbook would be a close second.
