I happened upon this beautiful little farm, owned by Jon and elaine Stevens , real nice folks, while I was driving on Camano Island. They have a wonderful stand with fresh produce, certified naturally grown, fresh baked bread, organic sourdough bread and cinnamon rolls. And since it is a small farm they have a small farm dog named Snickers. He is guarding the stand. I bought some rhubarb for a pie and they gave me a white Auntie Joyce Peony just cut from their garden. The peony is from one first planted in Wisconsin in 1943 by Farmer Jon's grandfather in memory of his daughter Joyce.

What a wonderful treat, Marybeth! That's such a great thing to happen upon, and they seem like real nice folks. Cute pup, that Snickers, lying in the shade :)
I love how they display their little stand! Cute cute!

MB, You have really been on the go of late. Wonder if you can press that flower? Its rather large. Maybe drive over it with the tractor. That was so nice that they gave it to you. Great pictures on your site today too. NANCY JO
