I ordered a light pink necklace from one of my craft show vendors. I think she did a great job with the work. I wish it was "pinker" and "stiffer". Can I just pin and starch it? I don't tat, so I am not sure what to do.

Our own Katy, who works at the farm makes FABULOUS tatted necklaces. She might be able to answer your questions Aimee!

Tatting is usually made with simple cotton thread, so pinning and starching it will be fine, and you can even go get some dye and make it whatever color you would like! My tatting has always dyed well (a time or two when I didn't want it to! *the bottle of bluing spilled*)

i thought it was just lovely. I am just uber-pink. I don't lie. I wear pink everyday. I have a pink toolbox, about 20 pink purses you name it...I am all about the pink!

That is so pretty. This has inspired me to try my own hand at jewelry, since I'm getting a little bored with edging doilies.

I love tatting; my great aunts used to tat and I still have hankerchiefs with edgings they tatted. I haven't figured out how to do it yet; heck, I just figured out how to crochet edgings.

I don't get the crochet edgings. I watch for them at the thrift stores and get them there.

Beautiful. You've given me an idea. I have a beautiful piece of pink crochet lace made by Sunshine. Its just long enough for the necklace/choker. I think I'll try using an antique button on the seam.
