It sure has been a doozy of a morning..I've been having muscle spasms in my arm since I woke up. Now it is weak. I have been very careful on moving and making sure that I'm not keeping it in one position for a long time. I was getting up and must have thought it was the time to stretch both arms and "bang" pain shot and it was a charley horse in the arm. ouch ouch ouch! So now I'm really taking it easy and putting heat on that area to try to calm it down.

So I need a good ole belly laugh....tell me something funny that has happened this week with ya'll.

Hey Jessica!

We have bats that fly around my house everynight. The other night there were more than usual. After we watched them awhile, we went out back and lit a fire in the firepit. I had a cup of coffee with me and when I put it up to my lips - a bat flew right up and hit me in the back of my head!! Needless to say, I spit coffee everywhere and my husband thought I was nuts! When I told him that a bat just thunked me in the back of my head, him and the kids couldn't stop laughing! I smelled like Folgers all night! LOL

Ok. First the funny: my niece Ava asked if she could take Max's helium filled "Diego" balloon outside on Saturday night, to which two Nanna (Grams) and one Aunt (Me) said, "no, it's probably not a good idea because it's filled with helium and if you let it go, it will go flying, HIGH into the air!". So, my very precocious 3 year old niece pondered for a second and without missing a beat a said, "Well, what if I found a hang glider? Could I take it outside then???"

Now, onto the serious: HAVE YOU CALLED YOUR DOCTOR? Does he say this is normal? I'm worried about you, girl!

Ok...I don't think that this is funny, but my DH thought that it was hilarious. I am a new farmgirl--only for 1 1/2 years have I lived out in the country. Before that I was a city girl! So, I don't know all of the different species that crawl the Earth--I just keep them in the catagories of "Hurt Me" and "Not Hurt Me"--you know, just the info I need. Well, I was out weed eating over the weekend and came across a wet spot by the A/C unit. All I saw was a little squiggle and a little wiggle and I set that weed eater on HIGH. Pieces were going every where--one even crawled towards me. So, I (and the twins in ALL of their glory) creeped out and took off, weeder in hand--still going full blast. DH was in the shop on the other end of 5 acres and heard/saw everything...I'm pretty sure he thought it was like he was watching "Redneck Baywatch!" He goes to the scene of the crime to find out I spliced and diced a poor little salamander. Needless to say, Mamma don't weed eat around the A/C no mo'!!!

Seriously though, I hope your spasm gets better!

So I pick Charlie up from school and bring him home. He is running around, chasing the dog, causing chaos, the neighbor just dropped by to give me the newspaper and while we were talking, Chloe passes so gas (famous among Boxer dogs)...Charlie looks at the neighbor..deadpan...and says "Chloe FAAATED!!!"... and no, I did not teach him this... : ) Yup...that's my kid!!!

Ya'll are good comic relief for a day like today! It must be working because I haven't had any spasms in a few hours. I did this when I had knee surgery back several years ago (yeah I have just lovely scars all over). I've been putting heat to try to relax it and I think that is helping.

Keep the jokes coming...they are being the best medicine right now! I really appreciate it. :)
