Grace, Your Mishka has grown up! I was so shocked to see pic's of that sweet babe then and now. Gosh I've been away from here for awhile............ jo
Hey Jo GREAT to hear from you - I have been wondering what wonderful adventures you have been up to.
Mishka and all the other goat babies are sure growing into marvelous goat's. I must say their fleece is the best we have produced in 12 years and I am so proud of how kind they are - Mishka is a spoiled one but I am just fine with that.
I have been dreaming of moving to Alaska again - even looked at some property on the net - please let us know what you have been up to in that land you call home.

Zan - thanks so much - I spent the weekend spinning and what a joy....... I must say the universe was with me and I made some one of a kind yarns that I am really proud of. I have been painted my bedroom the last couple of days so I promise I will post the yarns soon. I have been thinking of you both lately and just haven't sat down to type folks much - I am sure you are both swamped but you are always in my heart.

Aww, you are too sweet Grace. Yes, I guess summer is busy for everyone. I am STILL looking for a job. Geez, it's some kind of crazy, the economy in the city...so lots of changes, but some nice stuff too. I think about all the ladies here, but I also don't have too much time to post. The pictures of the farm, on your blog, are so cute!

Grace, I wish we could switch lives for a couple of weeks - wouldn't that be fun! You could bush whack with Paul and the labs, fly fish and not sleep for two weeks until the sun decides to set earlier again. Mishka is so adorable, so much animal love all around you.....
We smoked 88# of fish the other day, I woke up to find lab Sophie on top of the counter with salmon hanging out of her mouth!
At least Sophie knows that life is too short and to enjoy today. I know life always looks greener in someone's back yard. I hope you are catching up on your sleep, I have heard about your internal clock getting very messed up when you get your all day sun. I love fishing but I give the fish away because after years of eating it when I was little the thought of it makes my stomach turn.......
My dogs have a game in the summer - it is kill a skunk and give it to Mom. I can not understand why it has not caught on with others??? Now the cat has gotten into the game but his is Catch a Vole and bring it in the house... Never dull around here when your measuring stick is so low...

I'll need to post her drooling picture, I'm off to bed. I've spent the day looking for a chef for lodge out in Cold Bay, flyable only by bush plane. Anyone out there want to go cook/bake in the bush for 5 weeks. There's even running water!
Oh Jo I would be that person for you if there was any other way then bush plane. I spent several years traveling that way for a firm I worked for and now I can not even get inside the plane. You would have to knock me out to get me there - don't mind ruffing it, don't even care if I have running water but no little planes. Hope you had a good sleep and do not forget to post those pictures - miss seeing you all.
