I love figs too and have fond childhood memories of eating fresh figs from my grandmother's tree. My siblings and I even had a short lived business of bagging up and selling fresh figs to people that passed by. We lived in New Orleans at the time right next to River Road (the Mississippi River was on the other side of the levee. We had our own fruit stand! Oh!! Those were the days!!
Anyway, would you ladies happen to have a recipe for homemade Fig Newton Cookies? I would love to have it.
