I found 2 cookbooks that are awesome!
The first one is "Grandma's Wartime Kitchen" by Joanne Lamb Hayes. It is perfect for the frugal Farmgirl that likes to pinch thoes pennies! Plus, it is full of old time favorites. During WWII food was being rationed so families had to really make use of what they could get. It is a great cookbook!! Let me know what you think!
Next, I found a cookbook a little different than anything I've ever seen. "Dinner at Miss Lady's: Memories and Recipes from a Southern Kitchen" by Luann Landon is a cookbook written in autobiographical style. She tells childhood stories of her life in Georgia and intertwines the recipes into the stories. As you read her tales of what they had for dinner that evening, you can almost taste the Homemade Peach Icecream! Very neat book!! Let me know if you like it!
