I am starting to harvest some of my lavender.... My house smells WONDERFUL"...
I was hoping that some of you would share some of your favorite lavender recipes and craftes... I am starting by making a lavender wreath.....

We have a lady here that has a lavender farm. She used to make lavender wreaths and sell them for $50 each and had many back orders. They were gorgeous.
Actually I just looked and she has a website now with lots of ideas and recipes.

BigTownFarmer's article had loads of information; thanks for sharing the link. I wish more members of my family were into lavender. I'm the only one! Unfortunately, I think I missed the big lavender festival here in Washington (in Sequim). I wanted to check out all the great creations. Keep us posted with what you make, Rene.

Rene, I don't think there is any fragrance more lovely than fresh lavender., aren't you good to grow it and have it to perfume your home. It is so cold in the winter here I've never had any luck with lavender, that picture is so beautiful....
