Hi All! I'm trying to be a "green" farmgirl and have switched to vinegar, soda, salt and other "green" cleaners, but I have not found anything that will get rid of midew in the grout around my bathtub. Any sugestions, recipes etc. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

I have the following recipe from a nontoxic cleaning book, but have not tried it yet:
2 cups water 1/4 tsp lavender essential oil 1/4 tsp tea tree oil
Mix in spray bottle. Spray on surface. Allow to air dry=do not wipe off.

If you can't find anything "green", give "Barkeeper's Friend" a try. Make a paste, let set a while, rub off. I can't do without the stuff. Marly |
