Adorable! I live in my LP's all summer. Don't you just love Amy Butler? Her patterns and fabrics are so fresh and fun.

Amy, those are great!!! I have about 10 pair that I wear all year long...the cotton on some of mine are soooo soft, and just PERFECTLY broken in, that I know they'll be in the rag bag, too soon.

What pretty colors--I need to learn how to sew, for heavens sake!

Cute, Amy!! They do look very comfortable. I make my lounge pants from thrifted sheets too. :) Nice and soft, lots of fabric with little expenditure. That's a bargain.

It's great to see a finished pair. I just purchased this book and have been eyeing those as a first project out of it. Nice job and cute fabric! Thanks for sharing...now you've got me motivated to find some fabric and get going on them.

Now those are some cute pants!!!! Rachel from Friends called them apartment pants, remember? But they are definitely nice looking, and I love the big legs and the fit! Good job!

And you are such an awesome photographer!

Amy, very nice lounge pants. I made a pair for myself last year, but I found the legs to be too wide for me. I think I should try them again, though. Yours look great on you. And your daughter is so cute in her dress. Did you make that?

jeannie - thanks for the awesome photographer comment. wow. i only have a point and shoot camera and i dream of owning a nice camera one day!
clare - i didn't make that dress. it was a hand-me-down. but as soon as i put it on her i decided i needed to make one. i think it will be pretty simple.

Is it wrong to say that I think those pants are so cute, you could wear them out .. well, maybe to do errands, etc... lol... and I'm not even that sort of person who wears things like that out, but those are adorable!

Bought a pair of sheets at an estate sale last week perfect for these pants with a border for the bottom of the legs. I can't wait to make them...now to find the time!

Are they hard to make as me and my sewing machine are like 2 thumbs? I would like to try and make these. Hopefully I won't end up like Lucy did on I Love Lucy when she cut the carpet out!!!LOL, any pointers I would love :) Thanks

Well, let's see.
Number 1 - don't cut it out on the carpet.

Number 2 - Keep your thumbs out from under the needle/pressure foot.

Number 3 - Have fun!
