I am growing every thing I need for salsa but have no recipe! Crazy huh, well, I have the tomatos, cilantro, peppers, etc. Just need a recipe. Any suggestions would help! Never made homemade salsa, and I love it so I thought I would try it FRESH!

I usually just slice up a nice tomato (I Like mine chunky) with some pepper, salt, little lime, cilantro (chopped finely), sweet onion and I like to on occasion slip in a nice avacado. YUMMY!!!

Okay, I was visiting with my aunt about a week ago, and she pulled out the most amazing homemade salsa. It even had avacado bits in it. She's going to get me the recipe, and when she does, I'll send it on. I'm sure it would be a prize winner. I'll have to remind her... :)

we love salsa! I just canned some last week. Lots of tomatoes- I have a big stock pot that I filled about 3/4's of the way full with diced tomatoes, 2 large onions chopped, lots of garlic- I mean lots- I think it was like 3 or 4 heads of garlic chopped, lots of cilantro- I used 4 bunches chopped, jalepenos to taste. for that big pot I used 2.5 cups of vinegar, lime and salt to taste. This is good fresh but I was canning so you heat it until it is quite hot but not boiling. then pour into pint jars- process for 15 minutes, qts for 20 minutes. It is a hit with everyone- fresh or canned. the salsa with the cubed avacado sounds great
