Howdy from Texas Grace! Unlike my sisters up there, I have no idea where Salkum is, but I'm still happy to see you :)
I think you're going to have all sorts of friends here that share your interests. You're gonna fit right in :)

Hi Grace -
Welcome to the forum. I know what you mean about it being hard to find friends that you have much in common with! We are over on the dry side of the state but have only lived here less than a year. I like sewing too - I am right now working on finishing some UFOs before starting anything new.

Hi Grace

Welcome. I live a little north of you in the foothills of Mt. Rainier. I have a bestest friend who lives next to Chehalis and her mom lives in Adna. We wander down that way a few times a year.

Welcome

Hello Grace! I'm sorry you haven't found folks nearby with your interests, but maybe it is just a matter of time and discovery. I hope so. In the meantime, it is so great to have you join everyone here. It is a great community, very helpful and inspiring.

Welcome Grace. It's good to have you here. I'm in Pasco, WA. Is your area where they grow some of the most wonderful blueberries? I've been to Mossyrock, so I must have been through Salkum too! It's good to have you here to share your knowledge with the rest of us.

Hi Grace! I'm just over here near Vancouver so not far at all :) Welcome to the area! You'll love the forum - such a great bunch! I have an online quilt shop which keeps me hopping and love to barter with Miss Bonne and Lisa and the other gals here on the forum. Such talented ladies!
Hollar if you get some free time and want to meet up your way or venture over here. Our chapter here kind of fizzled but there are a few of us we could get together for a proper Farmgirl welcome sometime too :) It's always great to meet the other Farmgirls :)
Have a great weekend *~*
