Hi Gals!

We had to take down our 1880 barn this year, and still have several beams and loads of old wood shingles left if anyone could use them. I would love to trade for an old woodstove that I can put in my little house for heat and to make tea on.

My uncle carves duck decoys from old barn beams, but I have no idea how his materials supply is. I'll ask if he is interested, but he doesn't use email so it might be a few days before I hear from him.

Dear Brenda,

I would LOVE it if they went to a woodcarver! My Dad lived in Tecumseh, Michigan, and was a woodcarver. He probably knew your Uncle if he lived in Northern Ohio, they were a tight knit bunch! You can have whatever he wants. There are several kinds of wood, oak, hickory, chestnut, and some soft wood like pines.
