Hi yall! I am a divorced single Mom to 2 kids, a boy age 15 and a girl age 9. We have spent the last year living with my parents in NC and are just now moving back (to where we consider) home in SC. We are so excited! I found MaryJanes magazine at a Books a Million and fell in awe. I then ordered all the back issues I could afford! I have always been a little left of center in my immediate family because my Mom and sister don't sew, knit, crochet, cook,or garden. I think I was a throw back to my grandmother's time. Boy, do I miss her. I am looking forward to learning all I can from you farmgirls!

Blessings,
Jill

Hi Jill...I am sort of like you in my family too..more like my grandma than my mom and sister, who just arn't "domestic" as they put it. You will fit right in here for sure...I am looking forward to getting to know you!!

Welcome Jill, I know the feeling of not being in tune with family members. You will meet so many nice people here and we look forward to getting to know you...Karin

Hello Jill, Glad that you are able to move back "home". There's no place like it!! Hope life settles down for you and you are able to get into the farmgirl stuff.
Aren't the magazines great??? You can look, and look, and relook at them.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I joined the Sisterhood in May, but because of the move I hadn't had time to post. I have been busy working on my badges and as soon as I can unearth my digital camera I'll take pictures and send them in!

Howdy from Texas Jill-I'm glad you finally got to move 'home'. I know that feeling well. I'm a throwback to another era myself. Most of my family thinks I"m nuts! So be it!
I think you'll fit right in and be very happy here.
Welcome!
