Are you still looking for patterns? I found one in a bag of goodies I got at Goodwill today. Only problem, the corner with the size is torn off. It looks like it was never used. I unfolded a little to look for a size but the pieces are not marked the way modern patterns are. It just has a punch out letter to identify each piece. If you, or anyone would like it. I'd be happy to pop it in the mail. The brand is "Advance" , and it originally cost 25 cents!
sheila, i too am very short waited and i can wear dresses, especially if i make them myself. that way the height of the waist can be easily adjusted. peace connie in alaska
I'm sooo pathetic! I have the pattern and never started it! My son actually started to make one for one of his girl friends and left it unfinished and went back to college! I need to start a "Love buying patterns and dreaming of making them but never get around it " annonymous group! LOL!!!!Sherri-when I win the lottery-I'm kidnapping you, flying you down here and making you sew all my wanna finishes!!! I promise I'll take you to the beach!!!!!!
I'm with you on the "love buying patterns....". LOL Most of the time they are used for inspiration, or as a pick-me-up looking at the envelope covers. I remember so many from my youth. I have sewn up a few, but it's a drop in the bucket. It's all good though~don't feel guilty.
