Well the rain held off and we went to several sales. It must have been wood day. Got another old rolling pin, oil lamp, and wood bowl and spoon, old learning cards, and a hand made pull toy.
Going to my oldest daughters now for a family and friend party and dinner. Good thing, because after garage sales, and a three hour softball game, not cooking dinner sounds pretty good.

Once again, Nancy Jo, you have hit paydirt! Aren't those cards great! I'm so glad someone else is cooking your dinner, it sounds like you've had a very busy day....Karin

NancyJo,
I haven't had a chance to check your blog in a while. You have found some wonderful treasures! Love your little 'secret' garden.

Wow, Nancy Jo. You did better than good. You did G R E A T! I can't begin to pick a favorite! Love the one piece rolling pin. It does seem like there are 'days' for certain things. I like 'wood days'. My dh hates it when I have 'old appliance' days! LOL! Those old cards are great. I bet Miss Wilma would frame them and they'd look wonderful and people would snatch them right up!

jANICE,
I must say I haven't had an appliance day. How scary if I should take a notion to have one!!

Love the ball jar with the lid! Finding the lids is tricky, as most got broken along the way. I have one blue jar without a lid, and have been looking for one for years. So, if you ever see a blue lid.......with no jar to keep it company......I will buy it from you!
