I just wanted to pass along a link to Sew, Mama, Sew! blog, where they are doing a vintage smock sew-along. There is a free pdf pattern to download and 3 videos that help you along. Looks pretty cute and useful (lots of pockets!) and there are written directions also, if you have slow internet.
