Thought of you all when I went to visit my cousin's grave. I go up to check on the posies and just make sure it looks nice. They had cut the grass and the clippings were stuck on the headstone and base. I thought of you all and the you know you're a farmgirl thread hehe. I thought darnit I don't have gloves here and I should have a rag to wipe it and maybe some water. hehe I laughed outloud when I thought of you all.
Bridget, The farm girl in us goes everywhere, doesnt she...I found myself plucking weeds in a public place this last week... they had grown between the bricks on the walk.... Ha! I hope we brought you comfort.. Sometimes it is nice to know your surrounded by friends.

oh yes you all did Rene! It's bittersweet up there, she's the one I have posted about before, 19 killed by a drunk driver. Actually now he wants a furlough (sp) on july 12. Didn't say why and noone is dying or dead, the victims advocate called my aunt to ask her. He has been in only for 3 years and is sentenced to 11 but most likely only serve 6. I kinda have no mercy for him. He did what he did. But yes here I was laughing while cleaning off the grave!
Bridget, I am so sorry! My mom was killed when I was 9 - So I understand. She was blessed to loved so deeply that you still take care of her... thats a friend.
