Hey lil chickadees, I was out antiquing. I got 2 aprons I'm gonna post when I get a chance. I couldn't help but think of you all. There were some great finds. LOTS of primitives. I was just curious that if you want me to look out for anything to maybe post it here. I know this should maybe be in the barter/marketplace categories but we also talk so much about our ware loves so if you wanna post what you'd like FGs to look for for ya post it here! There were tons of kitchen and tools and buckets and baskets and table cloths that were old/primitive etc. Let me know loves and lets get the word out to the other FGs that go thrifting, antiquing, flea marketing.

good idea..
I think it would be a good idea too to reopen the randon act of kindness list..I think someone here is trying to do that(????).Saw something on another post somewhere here..but don't remember where.
On the random act of kindness list the gals shared their likes on that..and it was fun to be on the look out for things others might like when you are out garage saling or what not..and also just fun to send a handwritten recipe card or something like that.

I know what I would love other girls to keep an eye out for- good cowgirl boots in an 8 (or 7.5). I have been looking around here at thrift stores etc. but there are not many boots in my size that are wearable. I would love brown or tan, but I am totally open to other colors. I am drawn to more classic looking boots or ones like old Frye campus- no super fancy heels or anything.

We are on a budget- who isn't, so I can't spend too much but I bet one of you has a thrift store full of them for a good price;) Of course I would be happy to spoil you for finding them and I love bartering so check out my etsy store!

Warmly, Rebekka

Rebekka, If you knew me like some of the other farmgirls do, you'd know I have at least several pairs your size. Not sure what might be in the closet, but know there are a bunch in various sizes in my storage. My daughter took the really high $$$ unusual ones, but still some everyday good ones. I check on what I have here and also what I can get to at the storage units.

Hey Ronna-

If you are headed down to look anyway- do you happen to have some in size 6 to 6.5?

I got a pair of 7.5M boots. They are calf height, tan with fringe. I will be honest, I bought them 20+ years ago. They are not smooth leather. I think they may be a man made suede. They are cool and in good condition. I have pics if anyone wants to take a look. E-mail me. I have e-mailed Rebekka, so she does have first dibs.

I am looking for a button maker. 1 or 2 Inch in size. Ebay is $100 to $200 for new, I can't justify that to the DH. Also any parts that go with it.

Jill, if Hannah passes on the Frye's, I'll take 'em.

Hey, could you keep your eyes peeled for a vintage pedestal sink? Im coming up to PA in October so I could pick it up then if you found one. White, pink or green or whatever would be fine. Im building a little garden shed and I want a cute little sink outside to wash my hands!
