HI there! : )Picked up the latest issue of Mary Jane and had to pop in and see more. Love those aprons and can't wait to get the next issue.

I live in a town near Anchorage, Alaska but am home visiting family in Oklahoma right now. I grew up in the country near Bixby, OK although some cousins of mine always considered me the city girl as they lived on a dairy farm in the middle of open country.

Growing up we had chickens, horses, goats, dogs, cats and a few rabbits and other critters. Now living in town I have to be limited to parakeets, cockatiels, fish and a chihuahua named Skippy.
-although I am sorely tempted to get some city chickens, I can have three hens.

I love all things crafty, I am known for my cinnamon rolls far and wide, I am a photographer, I have two children (girl 8 and a boy 5), married to a military man for 17 years and lived all over. (But in Alaska to stay now)

I am thinking about starting a farmgirl chapter back in Alaska. So I am off to check out all the information. : )
Thank you for letting me ramble,
Amy

oh, here is my little farmgirl in training btw,

Amy

Hi Amy,
What a wonderful delightful dd you have. My Aunt and Uncle are moving up to somewhere around Seward. They lived there in Alaska for almost 20 years, then moved back now as they retired. They love it there.
Glad you are here.

Welcome Amy from another Okie. Isn't it awesome here?! Your daughter is one cute "chickie". Hope you are enjoying your visit back here at home. Hasn't the wind been terrible the last few days!

HI Carol Sue, I lived in Seward for two years back in 1999 or so. : ) It is lovely there, we went for a visit on spring break. Here are some photos I took while there. http://amygreenphotography.blogspot.com/2008/03/sea-life-center.html

Hi Shi-anne, yes it's been awful. And we have had storms and tornado sirens in the night, ugh.
