I got a wonderful package in the mail yesterday from Nancy Jo. You may have seen one of her recent thrift shop treasure postings on her blog that featured a beautiful crocheted potholder with a giant rose blossom on it. It even has thorns on the stem! These kind of potholders are my old time favorite, I have never seen one with a rose blossom this big. She sent a beautiful handmade card and a hanky with a lovely embroidered K on it and the sweetest little tin heart decoration. I was so touched, I feel so lucky to have discovered this forum and I;m making new friends - it is amazing!
And I happen to know Nancy Jo has recently downscaled her collection of sewing treasure, so I'll be thinking and looking for a special treat for her.
Once again -too much fun! (I'm a New Englander, we don't believe in too much fun, just a wee bit every now and again, then a big spoonful of castor oil or vinegar)...Karin
