I started spring cleaning our vintage(don't say 'old', say 'vintage'!) trailer last weekend, since the big tractor won't mow and the lawn tractor is in the shop and it rained all day Sunday. I took a few pics to show my progress: The second pic looks just like me - hair, glasses and everything-LOL! The holder for all my important daylily watering, weeding accessories is an old cutlery holder from a defunct old dishwasher. I've got another one on the other side of the sink for useful actual cooking/kitchen stuff. I just need the yard stuff where I can get it in a hurry, since I run in and out a lot. I actually buy those old holders whenever I find one in a thrift store - got another one in the antique mall holding vintage kitchen stuff. ;)That weird parrot tile thing I bought at Home Depot marked down several times. I plan to use it somewhere in the farmhouse kitchen on a counter space. Angel made me buy that! :D

Yes, Amanda. The trailer is my personal 'happy place'! ;) Next I'm working on the little bedroom, so I won't have to sleep on the couch when I stay overnight. :D

Janice,
I'm very impressed, it looks really nice. Its like having a play house. So much you can do with a small space its hard to believe. Did you see MARY JANE LEE'S little tiny trailer? I want one to have in the yard for a play house!. Make sure you show us the bedroom when its ready. You ordered the MJ bedding set right?

Adorable!!! What pretty cabinets, Janice, especially the "roll up" one to hide the larger appliances (I guess?)...and you're right, that plaque of the little blond gal DOES look just like you!!!!

Yep, Nancy Jo. The little bedroom is next. MJ comforter, green metal bed, Tina Michelle is going to make me a collage featuring a poster Jonni sent me a while back. A bunch of fun farm girl stuff. ;)

Jonni - the roll up thing is currently hiding: the George Foreman grill, the Juiceman juicing machine and a vintage kitchen scale. LOL

I love it!! I have been trying to talk my dh into a "vintage" trailer to fix up and put at the lake and he says it's too much work cause we have just fixed up an old house and I know he is tired of it!! LOL

After last weekend camping there he might change his mind.....about 20 dogs barked all night long!!! We were in the popup with no electricity....hence no way to drown out the barking!!

I'll be showing him the pics!!!

Lisa - The glass cupboard door has a rose etched into it. The kitchen cabinets were bought off the floor in either Home Depot or Lowe's and the guy who owned the trailer before us, just kind of reconfigured the kitchen until the cabinets fit - LOL! He covered up two windows in the front! But I really have more cabinets in the trailer than I do in the house in town. He and his wife and two children lived in the trailer while he was building his house on his own acreage. He was going to use these cabinets in his own house, but his wife found some she liked better in the meantime! I guess he took too long to finish the house - :D
