This article and pictures took up a whole page in my local paper yesterday. It was originally published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, written by Joanne Cleaver and tells the story of a very old house/barn, on the National Register of Historic Places, that is being saved in Wisconsin.
I find it fascinating to read about, as old buildings are such a draw for me. One quote from the article really struck me: "The project attracted those who like old buildings, who see romance in beams and worship through hard work." Perhaps you will feel the same.
