Hi, I am really new at this. I am a computer newbie ,my daughter had to help me get started. But i am a farmgirl born and bred . I was born and raised in N.Y state on a dairy farm. When we moved to Az. when i was in high school i later met and married a cotton farmer. We have four kids ages 20, 18, 15, 11.We have had cows, chickens, goats, at one time or another. I found out about farmgirls in the Mary janes farm magazine .It makes me sooo glad that there are so many who strive to be a farmgirl.

Welcome Lori! Glad you could join us. Arizona is such a beautiful and diverse state. Quite different from New York, though both are great in their own way. I'm sure you'll love it here.

Lori, It's nice to run into someone else from Arizona!! This is my first day of being on Farmgirl Connection, but is addictive!!! I have already found recipes for homemade laundry soap and other women who have never ending laundry piles like me. I hope you have a great time here!! |

Welcome Lori! Tho I am originally from SO Cali, moved to Glendale AZ when I was 19, when it was still considered rural! Surprise was farms and Buckeye was a "day" trip lol. Ok that was a gazillion years ago...trust you will have a blast here! My daughters have to help me too with the techno stuff...it is fine I can teach them quite a bit from the "olden days" :)
