I think this is a cute idea. It could me modified. I made one with an older t-shirt and it came out cute.

Heather,
What a great site! A friend gave a bunch of clothes earlier this week. They were too big for me, so I set to redoing 6 shirts, 2 that I'm going to dye. Sew much fun!

I like the idea of being able to re-fashion the shirts because I usually have to buy huge tops to fit my gals and then the rest is huge on me. I am going to modify her pattern a bit because I am not as thin as them gals but I tried it once and it works.

I bought two cheap little t's for my girls this afternoon and am going to refashion them. I have a few I'm going to do for myself too. Since I am currently with out a sewing machine, I'm hoping these t's will satisy my need for some custom made rags.

your skirts are great, lisa! i have a few i plan to do that to once my machine is going again.

after my first creations, i started folding laundry and instead of putting my girls long sleeve t's away for the summer, i turned them into tanks. i'll post them to my blog tomorrow.
