I have just completed a knitting disaster which cost me about 40 bucks and 100 hours. I have decided it is perfect for my Jack Russell, Mason to wear as a cape. I am looking for the perfect pin to finish off this Sherlock motif. Any ideas where to mail order a doggy pin? Plus, does anyone have any knitting "turn-arounds" they'd liked to admit to?

Hey I've been there totally. Still haven't fixed my last mistake sweater. Turns out I didn't have enough yarn even after buying extra.

How about a kilt pin? You can get them at most fabric stores. My Jack Russell, Spot hates sweaters, but I still make him wear them when its really cold out.

I can't get my husband's wiener dog,Frank, ( the basset girls are MINE) to wear a sweater either..he flips all over the place until he gets them off and then stands and shivers. Maybe I need to make him one like a turtleneck with lots of velcro..poor little guy.
I wonder if you could use a button and a safety pin to make a doggy one?
Boy, I have made my share of weird mistakes...tube socks that ended up golf club covers, (butt ugly ones) and one mitten that never got a mate that became an ugly puppet. I am better now, but still have my share of "turn arounds". (that sounds nicer than what I would call them!!) Yours sounds like a cute turn around though!!!!

One time I got this cute halloween outfit for my corgi, Sebastin.
He was so darn cute, of course we all laughed at him when he came in the room. He was soooo humiliated then I had to take it off, I thought he was going to cry, a really sad look on his face.
