Time is running out! Yikes!

It is hard to do job searching online and over the phone! Doug and I are both searching for jobs for him. Lots of resumes, printing and filling out of applications, talking on the phone!

You get a job and work there for a while and forget how tiring this all can be! LOL

My son is having to do the very same thing. We were just talking about how difficult it is to apply on line and to get an interview. It's like being the proverbial little fish in a big pond. He is very frustrated with the entire process. What happened to the days when you could walk in, make a good impression and get a job? They are gone. Sad that everything is so impersonal now.
Good luck to you and Doug! I hope something works out soon. :)

Oh Karin, I am so sorry your son is having such a problem. We have been lucky to have a very promising call back only 9 hours after submitting an application. That was Friday and he has a phone interview today. He might have to leave 2 weeks before me to go to an interview, but if that happens he will be working June 16th! Or, and this is what we are hoping they might have the management call and give him a phone interview and then he can just head down a day or two earlier to be there for his first day of work. This is the job that we really want him to get so we are very hopeful.
