| I do love travel essays as well - especially Peter Mayle, and his books about Provence. Right now I'm about to finish Under the Tuscan Sun for about the 5th time - I just love it - the movie, too, but the book more. Another favorite is by Susan Hermann Loomis, called On Rue Tatin. It's about her and her family moving to the French countryside. She now lives there and runs a cooking school. Her cookbooks are also wonderful. |
