TOMORROW ... i'm going to go visit an Arts Center in Louisville with friends from City Hall and Arts Council. WE are getting an arts center in Greensburg .. sooo .. we want to go get ideas!
Then .. i have a meeting in town tomorrow evening on our Quilts on Barns project that we're starting in Green County.
THEN .. i head for Kathy Sugarbuckets for the night.
up .. bright and early and we head for Cinnamon Creek for the fun Friday night and Saturday 'show and sale' .. where i'll take my 'rag chillun!!
home saturday night. you kids have fun .. i'll take pics and let you know all about our fun time! xo
well .. chillun .. add to that list .. WATCH SUGARS cuz' my pump didn't work today .. and i was up and down and in louisville with no way to 'change' it. WOWZER .. that was some little adventure. got to my 5 p.m. meeting tonight and back to my car and changed 'sites' ... decided to come home tonight to make sure this one is working .. gonna' head out real early tomorrow.
today was so fun and exciting and informative. will write all about it when i get back home. for now .. i'm gonna' hit the bed to be up bright and early tomorrow.
I'm anxious to hear all about your fun weekend....I'm on the Board for Arts in the Schools so the fact that you are getting an Arts Center is Soooooo exciting to me!! I am also really excited for your to be in the Show......Looking forward to be filled in about everything!!!
good evening gurlfrenz .. i jus' walked in the door .. brought all my 'treasures' from the show and just plopped them on the floor by the front door. can hardly wait until tomorrow to 'find a little spot' for each and every thing!
got some sweet reasures. the show, i'm told had FAR FEWER customers this year than last. (what with gas prices .. it's a wonder there were as many as there were!) WONDERFUL booths ... I had soooo much fun reconneting with olde friends and meeting new!
HALF of my rag chillun sold .. i promised arts council .. that i would put any leftovers in our Art in the Aleey Show at the end of the month.
i had such fun and bright 'outfits' each day! wore an APRON both days of the sale .. ada mae's apron was such a hit and i told everyone where they could find them!
there was tons of interest in maryjane's magazine .. and i'm hoping she will get lots of subscriptions from it!
so much fun and giggles with the gurlz! a friend from my dolly club in maryland (whom i haven't seen in over five years) showed up .. WOW .. was that a great surprize!
well, i could go on all night telling stories .. but i barely kissed honey hunk on my way upstairs to check my e-mail and 'boarads' .. and now i'm exhuasted .. so i'm gonna' HIT THE BED! have much 'puttin' away of stuff and packing for toledo to do this week .. but will try to get on and tell some more tales .. and YES! i took my camera .. but forgot to take it out of my bag!!! DANG!

Thanks Frannie for pluggin' my aprons. I am planning on doing the "Art in the Alley" as well. I've got to get to sewing!!! I'm hoping you have a patriotic doll left--I'll snatch one up when I see your booth--maybe we will be neighbors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
