well.. I'm thinking we need to invest in Depends if we continue making each other laugh the way we do here.. But it's a good investment I think!

Which makes me think of my Mother in law when SHE got to the point when She really DID need Depends!
STUBBORN old Girl!
We were forever pulling into a store to by this one a new set of Drawers & slacks!
i said Listen.. You are just going to have to get it in your you head that you might be needing to wear a depends when we leave the house!
She said "Oh No I won't!"
I said THIS is getting crazy!
She said "well i'm not doing it on purpose! I just think I'm going to Fart a little bit!"
I said "No Kddin'?"
"Do you know anyone over the age of 12 that actually does this on purpose?.. because I really haven't met anyone.. not anyone that is all there anyway..!"
so this arguement went on for a few months..
she'd continue to have these accidental little NOT farts..
& we'd be forever running into Walmart while out yard saling or what ever & picking up a pair of slacks & new bloomers for Miss Daisy!

Finally i said this is Crap.. Literally..
So I went to the store MYSELF!
Alright NOW I know how a guy feels going to the store & has to buy Tampons Or Sanitary Pads!

I had NO Idea there were SO many name Brands! So many SIZES!
So many Shapes! So Many Thickness' ! So many different WAYS to protect!
(Front or Rear Protecting!!!) Scented or Non!!

Holy Crap!
So.. I bought LOADS of them! I think I spent like $75.00!

But at the Check out.. I REALLY know how the guys must feel!
Have you ever bought ANYTHING.. ESPECIALLY in the Quantity that I JUST DID!! & felt that you HAD to explain yourself to the Cashier..AND everyone else around you??
"THESE aren't for ME! They are for my Mother -In- Law!"
Because for the love of God! You DON'T want ANYONE thinking that YOU need Depends.. ESPECIALLY not THIS MANY!
I Mean Girls! if I needed HALF of what I was Buying at the time..
I'm not so sure I would be able to walk!
Not upright anyway!
Face it.. If I went THIS much in my Pants.. I probably have No business leaving the house! Because THIS was Way over kill for a simple mis-fart now & then.. This was .. well shoot.. this was someone denying that fact that they probably needed a colostomy bag!
(Sorry.. TMI..)
ANYWAY..
I went to her house when she wasn't there..& I stuck all her
NEW PROTECTION Under her Bath room sink & i NEVER said a Word to her about it!
AND She has NEVER mentioned it to me either!
SINCE!
BUT!
She Must be using them.. or found SOMETHING in there that fits.. or works or SOMETHING.. because we have never had another episode Since..!
& this was nearly 2 years ago now!

So.. See.. Sometimes you just have to take things into your own hands..

I know you felt like they sent "food" to your house, but honestly I see nothing wrong. They showed that they care, even though it doesn't fit your lifestyle. Like everyone has said thank goodness the 3 of you have people that CARE!!! Take joy in that. Bless someone else with the stuff then. Look at it as something positive and don't take it personally. My mum still buys me "dumb" stuffed animals for the small holidays. I say just give me a card, now I tried the psychology thing on her and said ok if you want to get me something get me this (fairly $ but reasonable item) so I think she got the hint. She still does things that I see as a waste of money and would much rather enjoy her time, but that is life. God love her. Just enjoy them while they are alive and giving and supporting. You are blessed xoxoxo
