I always loved Christopher Robin. Yes, like Winnie the Pooh. I tease my oldest that he almost was named that(Christopher Robin, not Winnie the Pooh) I like Jonathan. My sister's grand is named Emma Blue. I thought that was pretty. Sarah Lynn is nice. Caleb is good, that is my grandson's name. Laurissa is my granddaughter. So many possibilities.

I always love Irish names (Niam, Liam, Aidan, etc...) but Justin won't have any of it for whatever reason (he's Irish?). I love Jude, but he doesn't want anyone to say, "oh--your parents Beatle fans?", and says "no" to Julian for that same reason.
But, Frannie, what's the middle name? We have to work with Aloyisius as a middle (for a boy) so I'm hoping your new little gran has it easier :)
Farmgirl Sister #80, thanks to a very special farmgirl from the Bluegrass..."She was built like a watch, a study in balance ... with a neck and head so refined, like a drawing by DaVinci"... NY Newsday sportswriter Bill Nack describing filly, Ruffian. http://www.buyhandmade.org/ |

Eli....I Love it! My Grandfather's name was Eli. I love that the old fashioned names have come back!! I think they have such a warm feeling when you say them! When we named our son Jacob, noone was using that name .... we loved that because we felt he would have a unique name .....However, I know that recently Jacob has been a top name on the boy naming lists. Guess others felt it was a great name too!
