I carried the pot around for awhile, well for a little longer then that and found a place for it.
The girls will be over pretty soon for the day, kind of rainy so not sure what we will be up to. I still might go get some plants.I like to plant a lot of VINKA VINE in baskets, so I could do that.

I commented on your blog, but let me say how pretty your finds are! And the white elephant. :) That is what I commented on....

JEANNIE,
That is funny you had the same white elephant. Richard got that for me about 30 years ago. I didn't like it then, but it was a gift from Richard so of course I LEARNED TO LOVE IT. Now its getting pretty old but I can't part with it, so there it sets holding its own. Its one ear is a little floppy.

Ours had a floppy, almost broken tail and one tusk that was pointing in thr wrong direction. But it was a table for a long time and then a plant stand on the porch, and we let it sneak away when my daughter left home. Oh, and one eye was gone on ours, too! It is so funny the things we learn to love and make a home for.

That is a great spot for that pot, it is so nice....Well Susannah and I went on a wee bit of a yard sale/junk store rampage today. It's raining and every bone in my body is whining, but I'll post a picture soon, we found some real treasure...I felt positively wicked, because i was supposed to just go to the pharmacy and pick stuff up, but the shopping vibes just took over, and i did find a tiny California redwoods plate for $1, so that really made my day.....Karin
