Yes My camera is now having a nap. I posted several pictures because I just can't stop myself.
Went to the thrift again today. Now I can't go tomorrow because the car is in for service, but I should be OK.
Got some cute things today, a little old school chair that I have been looking for. Passed up one a while back and was mad at myself for not getting it, but this one is an even nicer one. I made some oven baked chicken and it came out really good, beats standing at the stove and having greese get all over your thrift store shirt. And I made a cute door decoration for the back door. ETC.

Hi Nancy Jo!

I love your thrift finds- especially the chair! I would love to find some of those! How big is it? It looks very solid and well made!

You did great on the little chair, Nancy Jo. It looks cute in the corner of the room. But when we were in school, it wasn't a good thing to be sitting in the little wooden chair in the corner! LOL! At least it's turned away from the wall!

Great little chair and in top notch shape too. Mine all look like they were well used by little kids. Would it be rude to ask what it cost? I haven't seen one in a long time and have no idea what they're going for now. Last little ones I got were metal folding ones in bright primary colors. They might be living at my daughters house now, don't recall seeing them recently.

RONNA,
The little chair was $8.00. very heavy and well made. Don't think the little ones moved them around to much.
Alee, its little like you would see in a kindergarten class.

Once again, a job well done! I have a couple little chairs like that somewhere out in the barn....they are sweet. I spent the day at the tire store , had my third flat tire in the last three weeks. Not my idea of a fun time, but they fixed the nail hole in the tire I bought two weeks ago and took the snow tires off, so I suppose I should consider it not a totally unproductive day. I was glad I thought to bring a library book, the waiting room there is so depressing, they don't even have any tire magazines to peruse , they do have a vending machine and a broken tv. The wind is really gusting today but spring has taken a big step forward...You were very smart, Nancy Jo, to make that basket for your back door, you don't want to let yr house get out of balance....Karin

I have to think you got a wonderful bargain. I was paying about that 10-15 years ago when I bought most of mine. And in such beautiful condition. Lucky you. They're so cute with dolls, teddy bears, etc on them too. One of mine came from a childrens stores going out of business and still has some of a Howdy Doody decal on it. I guess the women didn't think to ask about buying the chairs, cause they were sure jealous when I walked out with them for $5 each. Have "the boys" not seen it yet...they'll be fighting over who gets to sit in it first.

kARIN,
Go out in the barn and get the chairs, if they are not in real good shape you can paint them. put them in your pantry with a bag of flour on one , the ideas are endless. Make sure you put a bag of sugar on the other one, I like things to balance.

Love the chair, Nancy Jo! I have 3 in my home as well, but none as nice as yours. It is such a beautiful piece. I have one holding a stack of stitchery & quilting books. Another holds a nice stack of folded linens in the bathroom. Aren't they such fun?

And where did you get that birdie soap dish? It is gorgeous! One of my favorites of all your finds.

Nancy Jo,
You are so lucky to have a thrift shop like that! We sure don't have one here. I enjoy looking at your "finds".
