Oh Cecily, I can't wait for a picture of baby Cooper..he wasn't born far from mine..it was on July 2nd. How are you doing? How is he sleeping? So many questions...time to write a long letter to you!!

Stephanie, I was just thinking about you... wondering how you are and thinking I should get to writing you a letter... I feel so out of touch lately with all my new responsibilities! Cooper is great! Sleeping okay, but gets up every 2-3 hours to eat. I still havent been to the store to get his announcements made. hopefully i can get them done before I mail you a letter so I can send them together. Hope you are doing well!

I was so happy to return to the computer after a week of no Internet (big storm in my area- lightning fried several electrical appliances in the village including my modem!) and find a message from my new pen pal! I have already started my letter! :)

Beverley, You are in sweetie! All you have to do is stay tuned to this forum... I will let you know when another farmgirl has signed up for a penpal. When someone else signs up, I will post in this forum a message that will tell you who your penpal is... Then you will click on your penpal's 'screen name' (the names to the left of each post) and choose the option to send her an email. You will send her your home address this way... if I made it sound too confusing, let me know. Stay tuned...

Hubby and I are going on vacation to Wyoming for 2 weeks. I'll pick something up and send it when we gat back. Sent not USPS.

I hear TX is getting record temps. If its a dry heat, not too bad, but the humidity is what's the killer.
Tried taking pix of hubby and our godchildren playing in a pool the otehr day and it looks like family in the mist.
